Servi

What Servi does

Fifteen things, starting with what every recipe you save gets.

On every recipe you save

  • Flagged against everyone in the house — allergies, won't-eats and dislikes, the maybes included
  • A swap offered for whatever someone can't have, yours to take, change or waive
  • Its ingredients join one shopping list, merged with the rest of the week and filed by aisle
  • Timers lifted out of the steps, ready to start with a tap
  • Tap any ingredient for its measures in the units you cook with
  • Amounts follow who's eating, guests included
  • Per-serving nutrition, where the site published it
  • With Servi Plus, the rest arrives too: nutrition worked out from the ingredients when the site didn't publish it, long-winded methods rewritten as plain steps with the original a tap away, the equipment you'll need, and a recipe in another language written up in yours

Allergy information here is worked out automatically, and we've built it to be as accurate as we can. Even so, mistakes are possible — including missing something — so always check the actual ingredients yourself.

Nutrition here is estimated from the ingredients, and we've built it to be as close as we can. Even so, it's an approximation rather than a measurement — don't rely on it for medical or dietary decisions.

Not everyone eats everything

  • Everyone in the house gets their own profile: allergies, won't-eats and dislikes
  • All fourteen allergens EU food labels must declare, plus anything you type yourself
  • Recipes are flagged against your whole household
  • Allergies are treated as hard limits; won't-eats and dislikes just steer suggestions
  • It flags the maybes too — when a dish may contain an allergen rather than definitely does
  • Invented recipes and answers steer around the same limits
  • The matching happens on your phone. Nothing about who eats what goes to the AI until you have agreed to it, and never with anyone's name attached

Make it allergy-friendly

  • On a flagged recipe, pick the allergens to take out and it suggests a swap for each ingredient that carries one — butter for a dairy-free spread, say
  • Every swap is your call: take the suggestion, name your own, leave it out, or keep it and keep the warning
  • The steps are rewritten to match
  • Keep it for one meal on the plan, or change the recipe
  • Every replacement is checked against the whole household before it's offered
  • With Servi Plus, AI can suggest other swaps and rework the steps too

Your family, without accounts

  • With Servi Plus, send each person a link. No account, no password, nothing to install, on any phone — Android included
  • Three faces, not five stars, whether they'd have it again, and a word about why
  • Their verdicts land on the recipe itself and come back to your library as Family favourites and Someone vetoed
  • Votes are advice, not commands: the plan changes only when you decide

What your family sees, and what comes back

A web page open in a phone browser, greeting one family member by name: last night's dinner with three faces to choose between, under it a meal they already answered showing what somebody else made of it, and under that the meals coming up, each with a row of thumbs and a button to say they are eating. No sign-in anywhere on the page. Save it from wherever it is

  • Paste a link — your phone loads the page and turns it into a proper recipe card
  • Share straight from Safari or Notes
  • Bring your recipes over from another recipe app
  • With Servi Plus, share from Instagram or TikTok too, or photograph a cookbook page, a recipe card, or someone's handwriting
  • With Servi Plus, describe a dish from memory — typed or dictated — and it comes back written up as a full recipe, with every line yours to check before it's saved
  • With Servi Plus, paste a whole list of links at once, and put your phone down while it works through them

When you're out of ideas

  • With Servi Plus, ask for something new and it pitches a handful of ideas; open one and it's written up as a complete recipe — ingredients, steps and timings, with a photo a tap away
  • Tuned to your household: what you cook, what went down well, what everyone avoids
  • Invented recipes wear a sparkles AI badge, so you always know which is which
  • Prefer the real thing? It can pull suggestions from the sites you already save from instead

Plan the week

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner across a rolling seven days
  • Say who's eating each meal, guests included
  • Change who's eating and the shopping list follows — cooking for six from a recipe that serves four just means ×1.5 at the shop
  • Not every night is a recipe: put down burgers, or a side to go with one, and the week takes it
  • It spots the jobs that want a head start — defrosting the mince, starting a marinade — and offers to remind you, one at a time and only if you say yes
  • Page back through what you actually cooked

One shopping list

  • Built from the meals you pick, with the same ingredient merged across recipes
  • Tap any line to see which meals put it there, and how much each of them wanted
  • Everything lands in its aisle on its own — anything you type is filed where your own recipes taught it to go, and moving something once means it stays moved
  • The aisles run in the order your own supermarket does, once you've dragged them into it
  • Sized to who's eating each meal, guests included
  • A shopping mode for the supermarket, sized for one hand — or written out on a notepad page, ticked lines crossed through
  • Paste a list as text and it gets sorted for you

More than one shop

  • With Servi Plus, tag each item with the shop you buy it at, and shop one store at a time
  • Pick a shop and the list narrows to what you need there, with a count beside every shop
  • It learns where you usually buy things, and files new items under the right shop
  • Anything without a shop turns up wherever you are

Shop together

  • With Servi Plus, share your shopping list with someone you live with — send a link, or let them scan a code off your screen
  • When you start shopping it opens on their phone: they tick things off, change amounts and add what's missing
  • Their list follows the shop you're in, so you both see the same aisles
  • Joining is free — they only need Servi, no account and no Servi Plus of their own
  • While you share it, the list passes through our servers so both phones can see it; stop sharing and each of you keeps your own list

Cook it

  • A kitchen-shaped screen that stays awake
  • Cook several recipes at once, and switch between them from the strip along the top
  • Focus shows one step at a time, in type big enough to read from across the kitchen
  • Timers pulled out of the instructions, running on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island — still counting if you leave the app
  • Up to five of them at once, for the nights that need five
  • Scale servings at the stove, and tap an ingredient for its measures in the units you cook with — including the spoon and cup sizes your country actually uses
  • Print one for the fridge door, or send it to someone as a card

Ask

  • With Servi Plus, ask what to cook, what fits the family, what uses up what you have
  • Ask what's safe for one person and the answer is built around their profile
  • Or hand it the planning: ask it to fill tonight — or the week — and it suggests from your own recipes, with the household's allergies treated as hard limits
  • It can build the shopping list from the meals you picked, sweep the list clean once you're home, or put a heart on something you've decided you love
  • Ask how to do something in the app and it takes you to the screen where you'd do it
  • Want something you haven't got? It can go and look for a recipe on the web
  • Every action arrives as a card to confirm — it only ever looks at your own collection, and nothing changes until you say yes

What's in Servi Plus

Everything above is in the free app except what's marked Servi Plus and the AI features listed here, and your library holds 20 recipes. Servi Plus is one payment, not a subscription: it removes that limit, gives each person in your family their own link, syncs your library between your iPhone and your iPad through your own iCloud, and comes with a generous helping of AI credits that never expire. Credits are what the AI features spend — Ask, invented recipes, capturing a recipe from a photograph, handwriting or your own voice, reading a photographed shopping list, AI ideas for allergy swaps, and an illustration for a recipe that arrived without one — and if you use them up, a monthly AI credits plan or a one-month pass tops them up — a plan's credits refresh each month and don't carry over, and a pass's end with the pass. Neither is needed for anything else: what Servi Plus unlocks stays unlocked. Nothing you have already saved is ever locked, hidden or deleted, at the limit or afterwards. Everyone's allergy profiles, and exporting the lot as a file, are free however you use Servi.

Where all of this lives

Your recipes, week plan, shopping list, notes and your family's allergies stay on your device, or with Servi Plus in your own private iCloud — either way where we cannot reach them. Only what you choose to share — a Shop Together list or a family rating link — passes through our servers. Before anything goes to the AI, everyone's name is replaced with a placeholder — Google's copy says someone in your household can't eat peanuts, never who. No ads, no tracking, no data brokers. Export everything as a file whenever you want, and delete your data from inside the app.

Your library stays on your device — with Servi Plus it also lives in your own private iCloud and syncs between your iPhone and iPad, never touches our servers, and you can export everything any time.

Coming soon to the App Store

Servi is finished and in testing. This page will link to the App Store the day the listing goes live.
